Sales and Account Manager

Reporting to:                  Head of Sales

Works closely with:      Training/Installations/Support/Account Management     

Key Result Areas:

  •  New Sales – Prospect for and target potential candidates for the Tramada suite of products and maximize all opportunities to grow the business with profitable sales in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Competitor Information – Maintain information on all relevant competitors and potential competitors of Tramada. Understand pricing, USP’s, support as well as training and ensure that spreadsheets containing this data are always up to date.
  •  Industry Knowledge – Maintain an up to date knowledge of current trends, activities, acquisitions and general changes within the travel industry. Recognising and acting on opportunities as they arise. Keep up to date by reading the trade press, networking and attending industry functions.
  • Agent relationships – Maintain positive relationships with existing clients and ensure that opportunities for additional module sales are maximized and that contracts are renewed.

Specific Duties:

  1.  Achieve sales target by following agreed processes.
  2. Manage and maintain acquisition and renewal pipelines
  3. Maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with counterparts at Amadeus, Sabre and Galileo.
  4. Maintain the Sales Demo Database and ensure it is professional, clean and sharp.
  5. Assist with the preparation of any and all tender requests.
  6. Assist with the preparation of any and all presentations and pitches for the business.
  7. Maintain an accurate sales and lead-ladder in the CRM database by updating with the most current information available.
  8. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information in AU and NZ.
  9. Maintain an up to date knowledge of current trends, activities, acquisitions and general changes within the travel industry.
  10. Compile and forward weekly and monthly activity and intelligence report to Head of Sales for board reporting.
  11. Attend and represent Tramada Systems at industry functions, promotions and general marketing initiatives to ensure company profile is kept top of mind with all agents.
  12. Liaise with internal departments to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
  13. Attend and contribute to sales meetings in all areas of strategic importance to the business.
  14. Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
